Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Digital Tweaks ("we", "us", "our"), the company that provides SellScope (the "Service") at sellscope.io. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use SellScope.

1. Who we are

SellScope is operated by Digital Tweaks, a company registered in the EU. Contact: [email protected].

2. What SellScope does

SellScope is a research and analytics tool for Etsy sellers. It helps you research products, keywords and shops, analyze your own shop, and see revenue and profit figures based on data from Etsy. Some figures are estimates (clearly labeled), and some are real figures read from your own Etsy account. SellScope is a read-only research tool: it does not change, create, or delete anything in your Etsy shop.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use SellScope. To use shop-connected features you need an Etsy account you're authorized to use.

4. Your account

You're responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. You may close your account at any time.

5. Connecting your Etsy shop

Connected features require you to authorize SellScope through Etsy's official OAuth process. You can disconnect at any time in SellScope or in your Etsy account settings. Your use of Etsy remains subject to Etsy's own terms, and we access your Etsy data only as you authorize and in line with Etsy's API terms.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

  • Free plan: available with no payment, subject to usage limits we may set and adjust.
  • Pro plan: a paid subscription (currently $24.99/month, or an annual option at a discount). Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods.
  • Billing: paid plans are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel any time; your Pro features continue until the end of the paid period, after which you move to the Free plan.
  • Refunds: on a monthly plan, you can request a full refund within 7 days of a charge. On an annual plan, you can cancel any time and receive a pro-rated refund for the unused whole months. Refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe. This is in addition to any mandatory statutory rights.
  • EU consumers: where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to digital services, by starting a paid subscription immediately you ask us to begin the service at once and acknowledge you may lose that 14-day withdrawal right once the service has been fully provided. Nothing here limits your mandatory statutory rights.
  • Taxes: prices may be exclusive of applicable VAT/taxes, which will be added where required. We, not Etsy, are responsible for invoicing you and for collecting any fees and taxes due on your subscription.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the Service; attempt to access it in unauthorized ways; scrape, resell, or redistribute SellScope's data or reports except as the Service allows; use it to break Etsy's terms or any law; or infringe anyone's rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

8. Estimates are estimates, no guarantee

Many SellScope figures (such as competitors' sales or revenue) are estimates derived from public signals, not exact facts, and are labeled as such. Real figures come from your own Etsy account. We work hard on accuracy and reconcile your own numbers to Etsy where possible, but we do not guarantee that any estimate, ranking insight, or suggestion is accurate, complete, or will produce any particular sales or search result. SellScope is a decision-support tool: business decisions are yours.

SellScope does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

9. Intellectual property

We (and our licensors) own SellScope, its software, design, and content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You keep all rights to your own data (your account and Etsy data); you grant us the permissions needed to operate the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Your data and privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind (express or implied) to the fullest extent the law allows, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Etsy data will always be available (the Service depends on the Etsy API, which is outside our control). SellScope is provided by Digital Tweaks, not by Etsy, Inc. Etsy does not provide the Service and makes no warranty about it, and Etsy is not responsible for it or for anything you do with it.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence), or your mandatory consumer rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the Service (with reasonable notice where practical). On termination, your right to use the Service ends; the sections that by nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material we'll give reasonable notice (e.g. by email or in the app). Continuing to use SellScope after changes take effect means you accept them.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and the courts of Romania have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence in the EU. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
